Call transfer — attended or blind, with full context.
Warm transfers with context. Blind transfers for speed. Either way, the customer reaches the right person without calling back.
83% of customers expect to reach the right person immediately. A smooth transfer means the next person already knows why they're calling — no repeating, no re-navigating menus.
Included in every plan — from $20// extension / month.

Attended vs blind — pick the right mode per call.
Attended (warm) transfers brief the colleague before connecting — the customer never repeats themselves. Blind transfers send the call straight through, fast and efficient for clear-cut routing.
"She completely understood my needs and helped me fix my issue."
A bad transfer is worse than no transfer — the customer loses trust twice.
Frequently asked questions.
What is the difference between attended and blind transfer?
An attended transfer (also called a warm transfer) lets you talk to the receiving party first — you brief them on the caller's situation before connecting. A blind transfer (cold transfer) sends the call directly to the destination without any introduction. Attended transfers provide a better customer experience; blind transfers are faster for simple routing.
Can I transfer calls to an external number?
Yes. With EMAK's VoIP business phone system, you can transfer calls to any phone number — internal extensions, mobile phones, home offices, or any external number. The transfer works the same whether the destination is inside or outside your organization.
What happens if the transfer destination doesn't answer?
If the destination doesn't pick up, the call can be returned to you (on an attended transfer) or sent to the destination's voicemail (on a blind transfer). Your phone system handles the fallback automatically so the caller is never left hanging.
