Do I need special phones for hot desking?
No. Hot desking works with any SIP-compatible desk phone provisioned on EMAK's VoIP system. No special hardware or additional licensing required.
Is hot desking secure?
Yes. Each user authenticates with their own credentials. When they sign out, all personal settings, voicemail access, and call history are cleared from the phone automatically.
Can remote workers use hot desking?
Yes. Combined with the softphone app, remote workers can log into any browser-based phone and get their full extension, voicemail, and caller ID. Hot desking isn't limited to physical desk phones — it works anywhere you can open a browser.
