How does VoIP conference calling work?
Participants dial a conference bridge number and enter a PIN to join the room. EMAK's VoIP system mixes the audio from all participants in real time. The moderator can mute, unmute, lock the room, and record — all from their phone or the EMAK portal.
Do participants need to download an app?
No. Participants call in from any phone — desk phone, mobile, or softphone. Nothing to download, no account to create, no software to install. Just dial the number, enter the PIN, and join.
Can I record a conference call?
Yes. The moderator can record the entire conference call from the EMAK portal or by pressing a key during the call. Call Recording captures the full conversation with AI transcription, just like one-on-one calls.
How many participants can join a conference call?
EMAK supports multi-party conference calls. Each conference room can accommodate multiple participants — both internal extensions and external callers dialing in from any phone. There is no per-call participant fee.
