Bilingual EN + FR

Serve every customer in their own language, from the first ring.

Greetings, menus, voicemail, the phone system your staff use every day, and the people who pick up when you call us — all of it works in English and in French. Not as an add-on, and not on a bigger plan.

Trusted by 1,000+ Canadian businesses · 5,000+ users

A customer who has to repeat themselves in a second language before they can be helped is already having a worse day than your competitor’s customer. The fix costs nothing extra.

Included in every plan — from $20/extension/month.

Or skip the menu entirely.

A menu is a small tax on every caller: listen, decide, press. Our AI agent takes a different route — it hears which language the caller is speaking and simply continues in it. No prompt, no keypress, no wrong branch to back out of.

It answers questions, takes bookings and passes the call to your team when a person is needed — in whichever language the conversation started in.

Bilingual all the way down.

It is easy to translate a greeting. It is harder to make the whole system work in two languages — including the parts your own staff touch.

The software itself, in French

Your receptionist should not have to work in their second language all day. The whole EMAK dashboard switches between English and French, so each person on your team uses it in the language they think in.

Quebec French, not France French

Your greetings and menus are generated in Canadian French, so callers hear an accent from here rather than one from Paris. Type the wording, pick a voice, and it is live in seconds — no studio booking, no re-recording when your hours change.

A support team that already speaks both

Everyone at EMAK works in English and French, so there is no transfer to a bilingual queue and no callback scheduled for tomorrow. We are in Montreal, and last year we answered 94% of support calls with an average wait of 31 seconds.

"Our office recently transferred our lines with EMAK and we couldn't be happier. Excellent service, professionalism and ease."

Frequently asked questions.

Can callers choose English or French when they call?

Yes. Your greeting can offer both, and each choice sends the call down its own path — its own team, its own queue, its own voicemail box and its own hold music. You are not limited to two: the same approach works for any language you record a greeting in.

Can the system tell what language someone is speaking?

Yes. Our AI agent identifies the language from what the caller says and carries on in it, with no menu and no keypress. If the caller then asks for a person, the call goes to someone who works in that language.

Is the phone system itself available in French?

Yes — the dashboard your team uses every day is fully bilingual, and each user picks their own language. This is worth checking with any provider you are comparing us to, because a French greeting on an English-only system is only half the job.

Do the French greetings sound like Quebec French?

Yes. Greetings and menus are generated in Canadian French rather than European French, so your callers hear an accent from here. You can preview voices before publishing and change the wording yourself whenever your hours or your message change.

Is your support team bilingual?

Every person at EMAK works in both English and French, so whoever picks up can help you — there is no bilingual queue to be transferred into. We are based in Montreal. Last year we answered 94% of support calls, and the average caller waited 31 seconds.

Does bilingual service cost extra?

No. Language routing, French greetings, bilingual voicemail and the bilingual dashboard are included on every plan, at the same $20 per extension per month.
