Hold a call and let anyone on your team grab it — from any phone.
Park a caller in a virtual waiting spot with music while you find the right person. They pick up from the nearest extension. No transfers, no voicemail, no lost calls.
Only 1 in 5 callers will leave a voicemail. Park the call instead — they hear hold music while you page your colleague, and stay on the line for a live answer.
Included in every plan — from $20// extension / month.

Better than a transfer.
You don't need to know someone's extension or hope they're at their desk. Park it, announce it, whoever is available grabs it. Flexible, fast, and works in any office layout.
Per-department parking slots, so your sales team and support team manage their own lots without stepping on each other.
Especially valuable where staff move around.
Medical clinics, retail floors, warehouses, and multi-room offices — anywhere a phone shouldn't tether a person to one desk.
Medical clinics
Park while the doctor is with a patient. Page when they're free. Patients reach a live person instead of voicemail.
Retail floors
Park the call while staff finishes with a customer. The next available person picks it up — from anywhere on the floor.
Warehouses
When supervisors are out on the floor, calls park instead of bouncing to voicemail. Whoever reaches a handset first picks up.

Frequently asked questions.
What is call parking?
Call parking places a live call into a numbered holding slot (a "parking lot") where any phone on the system can retrieve it. The caller hears hold music while waiting. It is a standard feature on EMAK's VoIP phone system.
What is the difference between call park and hold?
Hold keeps the call on your phone — only you can retrieve it. Call parking moves the call to a shared slot that anyone on the system can pick up from any extension. Parking is ideal when you need someone else to take the call.
How does someone retrieve a parked call?
Dial the parking slot number from any phone on the VoIP system. The parked call connects to them immediately. EMAK displays active parked calls in the portal so your team can see what is waiting.
How many calls can be parked at once?
EMAK supports multiple parking slots. Each parked call occupies one slot and can be retrieved from any extension on the system.
Does call parking cost extra?
No — included with every EMAK business phone plan at no additional charge.
