Yealink T57W Bluetooth FAQ

What does Bluetooth pairing actually let me do?

Once paired, you can take and place cellular calls through the Yealink’s handset, headset, or speakerphone. You can also browse your mobile’s contact list directly on the Yealink screen, which makes one-tap dialling much easier than typing numbers.

Why do my contacts disappear from the Yealink after I unplug my phone?

By default, the Yealink syncs contacts only while a Bluetooth connection is active. On iPhone, enable Sync Contacts in the device’s Bluetooth info screen so the sync persists across disconnects.

Can I pair more than one mobile phone at the same time?

The Yealink T57W can remember several paired devices, but it only connects to one of them at a time. Switch the active device by selecting it from the paired devices list on the Yealink Bluetooth menu.

The Yealink does not see my phone in the scan results — what do I do?

Make sure your mobile is set to be discoverable in its Bluetooth menu — some phones only advertise while you are looking at the Bluetooth screen. Move the phone closer to the Yealink and tap Scan again. If the device still does not appear, restart Bluetooth on both devices and retry.
