How to Create a Recording

You can create a new recording for your auto attendant menu or call center directly from your emak phone.

Note that these recordings are intended for your phone menus – the instructions for recording a voicemail greeting are different.

Creating a Recording

  1. Dial *732 and wait for the voice prompt
  2. You will be prompted to enter an ID for your recording
    • The ID can be any number from 1 to 9999
    • Overwrite an existing recording by calling back and selecting the same ID again
  3. Start talking after you hear “Recording Started”
  4. Press the pound key (#) when done to end the recording
  5. Press 1 to accept the recording then hang up or press 2 to start over.

Applying a Recording

Once the recording is created you can email us at support@emak.tech or calling us at *611 and we will be able to apply the recording to your menu as requested.

When contacting us, please provide the recording ID so we apply the correct recording for you.
