How to Reset Your EMAK Portal User Password

If you forgot the password to your EMAK Telecom phone-portal user account — the one you use to manage your extension, voicemail, faxes, and call routing — you can reset it yourself from the sign-in page. The system emails you a reset link; you set a new password and sign back in. The whole process takes about a minute.

Before You Start

  • You need access to the email address on file for your portal user. Reset links are sent there.
  • If you do not know which email is on file, ask your administrator or contact EMAK Telecom support.
  • This guide is for the phone portal (extensions, voicemail, faxes). The billing portal at client.emak.tech/portal uses a different login.

Step-by-Step: Reset Your Portal Password

  1. Open client.emaktalk.com in your browser.
  2. Click Reset Password on the sign-in page.

  3. Enter the email address on your portal user account.
  4. Click Reset. The system sends a reset link to that address.

  5. Open the reset email in your inbox and click the Reset button inside it.

  6. Enter your account email again and choose a new password that meets these requirements:
    • At least 8 characters
    • At least 1 lowercase letter
    • At least 1 uppercase letter
  7. Click Save.

Password Reset FAQ

The reset email never arrived. What now?

Wait a couple of minutes, then check your spam or junk folder. If it is still missing, the email on file may not be yours, or your inbox may be filtering messages from EMAK Telecom domains — see Outlook junk email fix or whitelist EMAK domains. As a last resort, contact your administrator or EMAK Telecom support for a manual reset.

The reset link does not work or says it is expired.

Reset links are single-use and time-limited. Start the reset over from client.emaktalk.com to receive a fresh link.

Can I change my password without resetting it?

Yes — sign in to the portal first, then follow How to Change Your User Account Password. Use a reset only when you have lost your current password.

Is this the same login as the billing portal?

No. The phone portal at client.emaktalk.com and the billing portal at client.emak.tech/portal are separate systems with separate credentials. Resetting one does not affect the other.

I am an administrator — can I reset another user’s password?

Yes. Administrators can reset any user password from the admin section of the portal. End users on your account can also reset their own passwords using the steps above.
